Just For Kids:  Hands-on House classes offer an opportunity to explore topics in-depth in a small group setting geared for 3-6 year olds. Classes are led by experienced museum educators and incorporate hands-on, participatory activities. The cost is $12 for members or $14 for nonmembers.

Registration Policies

  • You may register for all classes in advance by visiting or calling Hands-on House at any time during public hours.
  • Registration is on a “first-come, first-served” basis. Space in each class is limited.
  • Parents/adults do not accompany children to class (except where noted.)
  • Children must be toilet-trained (not needing diapers or pull-ups) to attend class. (Not required for Hand-In-Hand)
  • Stay and play! Class fee includes museum admission for child participant during public hours on day of class. (Adults $7) Not valid for drop-in events.
  • Payment is due in full at the time of registration.
  • There will be no refunds unless the class is cancelled.
  • Payments are NOT transferable to a different class, day, or time.
  • Hands-on House reserves the right to cancel any class.
