Volunteering at Hands-on House is a great way for teens to gain valuable work experience, learn responsibility, work with young children, make new friends, and give something back to their community while having fun. It's also a terrific way to earn service learning credit for school, church or scouting.

*PLEASE NOTE* At this time all of our volunteer positions for 2017 have been filled. We will keep applications on file if a position becomes available. We often pull from this list throughout the summer as our needs change.

Summer teen volunteers participate as camp aides for Summertime Station, our special summer camp program for children ages 4-7. Camp aides work directly with the young campers, assisting with projects and activities while having great fun! Volunteer shifts are 8:30am - 12:30pm, Monday through Friday. Volunteers are asked to commit to one or more full weeks.

Volunteers must be in the 8th grade (or older) for the 2017-2018 school year. Volunteers attend an orientation session and are expected to volunteer a minimum of 20 hours over the summer months.

If you would like to be added to our waitlist for the summer of 2017, please print, fill out & mail the volunteer application form to Hands-on House.
