Hands-on House is a proud participant in the Extraordinary Give!
What is Extra Give? A 24 community fundraising event for nonprofits across Lancaster County! Hosted annually in November, the Extra Give is an opportunity to support the organizations that mean the most to you and fund their efforts for the year to come.

Ways to support us in this event:
- Share our fundraising page with your community on social media
- Inquire about creating your own fundraising page on our behalf (send an email to our marketing coordinator, Shayla: shayla@handsonhouse.org)
- Consider donating to us (as low as $25)
Thanks to our generous donors we were able to raise over $7,500 in 2023!
With these funds were able to:
- Provide Summer Camp scholarships
- Maintain and improve current exhibits
- Create programs that promote diversity, inclusion, and equity
- Expand our K-3 outreach programs
- Develop more in house hands-on programs focused on STEM, literacy and art
- Host special community events
- Offer SNAP discounts to participating guests
- Offer Military admission discounts
- Purchase educational supplies and keep classes FREE-with-admission
- Keep up with operating costs so we can continue serving the community with playful learning opportunities
