- Sensory-focused activities will be provided with our program partner, Ashton Smith, of Smith OT Solutions
- Exhibits that may still be bright, loud, or have unexpected textures will have signs noting this
Can't make it during Sensory Friendly Sundays? We offer the following sensory support during regular museum hours
- Sensory kits are available to check out at the front desk. These including noise-reducing headphones, sunglasses, fidgets, and a museum sensory map
- Sensory maps are available in two locations in the museum and on our website here. The sensory maps note which exhibits are loud, bright, have different textures, and may have unexpected smells
- A pre-visit guide is available here. Our pre-visit guide includes a walk-through of what kids can expect in their visit and includes pictures of our exhibits
