A hands-on field trip experience in Lancaster PA
Hands-on House is a fun and educational place to bring your class or group!
Planning your trip:
Groups 15-100 people: $7.50 per person weekdays and $9.00 per person weekends (children and adults)
Reservations are required and must be scheduled at least one week advance
Group visits are limited to 90 minutes indoors.
We recommend a ratio of 1:4 adults to children. If children are in kindergarten or below, this ratio is required.
Field trip rules:
- Group visits may come a maximum of 15 minutes before their scheduled time.
- We require one singular payment from the group's adult. It can be a card, cash, or check. Please make sure it is the correct amount, as Hands-on House cannot refund partial payments.
- We cannot guarantee space inside for lunches. Outside eating spaces are first-come first-serve. Outdoor space is limited during summer hours due to summer camp.
- Children are allowed to make gift shop purchases during their visit. Please make sure children have enough funds to complete purchases including tax. Hands-on House cannot remove taxes from purchases if a child does not have enough funds.
- If you chose to have group bathroom visits, please ask a staff member for assistance, as bathroom space is limited and shared with all visitors.
- Hands-on House is not responsible for the supervision of children. Chaperones and adults are required to remain in the same space as their children.
