School's Out Day Camps
Join us this school year for special School's Out Day Camps! Held on select dates during the school year when many school's have off, these special Day Camps will be full of fun, discovery, STEM and art activities, making new friends, and so much more!
Campers will enjoy two snacks throughout the day provided by Hands-On House and are required to bring a packed lunch to enjoy as well. Please note that there is not refrigeration for lunches available.
Camp can get messy! Please be sure your camper is dressed for play, and we invite you to pack extra clothes just in case.
Each camp will run from 8:30-4:30 and will cost $50 per camper. If you would like to see future Day Camp dates, please fill out this interest form. Those who fill this form out will receive an email when registration opens for future dates.
A select number of scholarships are available. For those interested in applying for a scholarship please fill out this application. A staff member will be in touch shortly after completion.

At Free-to-Be Kids Camp, children have the rare and valuable opportunity to slow down, explore freely, and make meaningful choices about how they engage with the world around them. Here, play is purposeful, open-ended, and deeply educational.
But instead of being shuffled through constant rotations, whole-group activities, and teachers' lesson plans, children are empowered by skillful educators to follow their interests, discover new passions, and expand their thinking and confidence in a safe and thoughtfully planned environment.

- diving into art and sensory experiences,
- or transforming everyday materials into something completely unexpected...
campers learn to take risks, solve problems, and express themselves in ways that are foundational to success in more formal settings.
By interacting directly with peers more than screens, actively playing more than being passively entertained, and creating fun for themselves more than relying on adults to prevent boredom, children discover the power of their own ideas, imagination, and resourcefulness. They learn to collaborate, negotiate, and innovate — building essential life skills through the joy of play.
